The Morning Of 8/20/22…

The bride and groom both got ready in the beautiful Pleasant Beach Hotel in upstate Sterling, NY. The little details of their day were so special, sparkling in that NY summer sunshine.

Kristin looked so beautiful! Her floral arrangements were stunning and they brought out the pink in the bridesmaids dresses perfectly! Kristin’s mother couldn’t be there on her wedding day, but her presence was all around. Kristin honored her mother by wearing her mother’s wedding lace on her hair pin and on her dress, as well as an angel charm in her bouquet. It was truly special and I could tell how much Kristin’s mom meant to Kristin and her family.

Kristin and her beautiful bridesmaids spent the morning in their suite overlooking Little Sodus Bay, sharing laughs and getting ready together. It was time to put her dress on!

First Looks

Kristin did a first look with her father and her aunts. She was able to show them her mother’s lace on her dress, share a few tears along with hugs, and much excitement for Kristin and Paul’s continued life together. They’ve been planning their wedding for two years so everyone was SO excited to celebrate them!

Ceremony

The girls and guys spent their last few moments at the hotel before heading to Kristin and Paul’s home nearby for the ceremony!

Kristin and Paul spoke so sweetly of their beautiful home together, how much work they’ve put into it, and how excited they were to share it with all of their loved ones. Their backyard had the most beautiful pond, and they even had a golf green! I could tell how much love and warmth their home provides. The ceremony was just past the green overlooking the pond. It was STUNNING!

The family said Kristin’s mother has represented a white butterfly, and as the ceremony went on a white butterfly flew around Kristin and Paul. It was a truly special moment. They sealed the deal with a kiss and walked back down the aisle as husband and wife!

Reception and More…

Behind Paul and Kristin’s home, they have trails where we ran into some four wheelers while taking photos!

Every year Kristin and Paul do an overnight snowmobile ride on Tug Hill, which is where Paul got down on one knee in the snow and proposed. You can say having access to trails behind their home is special!

After that Paul got in his Camero with his father who he’s spent years with growing up around cars and they spinned out on the street in front of their house! IT WAS AWESOME!  Kristin stood there watching (with ring finger up for dramatic effect of course!)

The couple had their first dance and shared some laughs and cries during speeches. The cupcakes were fabulous, I had chocolate. I’m never one to shy away from dessert! Their cake topper was especially fun because it honored their two adorable pups! Their guests (and me) all signed their new corn hole set, which I thought was such a fun way to remember who was there on their special day!

One of my favorite parts of shooting a wedding day is that golden hour sun! Kristin changed into an adorable short white dress and we walked down their street. This is also such a fun little getaway for the couple to get a few moments of alone time. It was so apparent the love these two have for each other.

Kristin and Paul ended the night with fireworks in their backyard. It was SUCH a fun way to end the night. It sounded like there was more party to come after I left! It was such a beautiful day (a bit hot and sweaty at times haha), but with such a beautiful couple, a strong love, and family and friends around supporting them. It couldn’t have gone any better!

CONGRATS Kristin and Paul! I hope you have the best honeymoon together in Arizona and I can’t wait to keep in touch!
