How to Elope to Vegas on a Budget

Let’s get real – there’s a reason eloping in Vegas is so popular! It’s fun and glamorous, and the city offers so much to do before, during, and after your ceremony! However, if you’ve never been to Vegas before, let me warn you: it can be pretty expensive. Here are some tips to keep costs down during your Vegas elopement.

Las Vegas Elopement

Save Money on Your Las Vegas Hotel Stay

There are a few ways to get the most bang for your buck when it comes to hotel rates. First of all, try to stay during the week if you can, instead of the weekend. Second, consider off-strip hotels. Ride-share rates are very affordable and there are a ton of fabulous options less than minutes away! Finally, be sure to compare prices across sites and consider booking using an app like HotelTonight, which sells leftover rooms at a discounted rate.

Save Money on Food and Drink During Your Las Vegas Elopement

If you’re heading to Las Vegas for your elopement, I’m guessing you’re looking to dine and drink a little! One of the best ways to save money on food and drinks is to look for happy hours or late night happy hours! There are also some buffet options, but many are closed due to Covid. You may need to call and ask if they’re doing this again!

Enjoy Free Attractions During Your Las Vegas Elopement

One of the great things about Las Vegas is that there are a ton of attractions that are completely free! One of my favorite resorts is the Bellagio, where you can watch the famous fountain show or tour the Conservatory and Botanical Gardens completely free! The Wynn also has a floral atrium, and the Flamingo has a wildlife habitat.

Where to Elope in Vegas

Of course, there are plenty of chapels to elope in while you’re visiting Las Vegas! One of the most iconic is the aptly named Little White Wedding Chapel where Britney Spears, Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner, and Frank Sinatra all got married, where packages start at just $50. Another option would be to take your elopement outdoors at Red Rock Canyon, Valley of Fire State Park, or Seven Magic Mountains.

Epic Elopement Destinations Further Outside of Vegas

If you want to party it up in Vegas but want a truly amazing backdrop for your elopement, there are some great spots within about four to five hours away. My favorites are the Grand Canyon and Horseshoe Bend!
